Five Easy Recipes for a Delicious Picnic this Spring Season

Easy Recipes to Try in Your Kitchen

The following are some of the finest springtime meals to prepare in the kitchen and enjoy at your picnic.

1. Chocolate Pretzels

Ingredients: One bag of pretzels and three large Snicker chocolate bars.

1a. Preparation:

  • Break the Snicker chocolate bars into small pieces.
  • Melt the chocolate in a large bowl by heating it for 20 seconds in the microwave.
  • Stir the chocolate with a spoon.
  • Cover all the pretzels with chocolate.

2. Boiled Egg and Bread

Ingredients: Five eggs, twelve slices of bread.

2a. Preparation:

  • Boil the eggs for 15 minutes in water. Then make them sit for 10 minutes, then remove them from the water.
  • Remove the eggshells and mash the full eggs with a spoon into powder.
  • Make six sandwiches with the bread and powdered eggs.

3. Pasta and Tuna with Ketchup.

Ingredients: One Pack of pasta, one large tin of Tuna, and one bottle of ketchup.

3a. Preparation:

  • Boil, the pasta for 15 minutes in a large pot of water or until the pasta is soft and can be cut with a fork.
  • Open the tin of Tuna and pour all the contents into a bowl, cover it with a plate, then heat it in the microwave for four minutes.
  • Mix the pasta and Tuna with enough ketchup to taste in a large bowl, then pour all the contents into a container.

4. Bully Beef and Bread

Ingredients: One tin of corned beef, twelve slices of bread, one small onion, one small tomato, and vegetable oil.

4a. Preparation:

  • Open the tin of corned beef and mash it with a fork so that it crumbles.
  • Cut up the onion and tomato into small pieces.
  • Mix the mashed corned beef with the onion and tomato. Then fry the mixture in vegetable oil.
  • Make six sandwiches from the bread and mashed corned beef with the onion and tomato.

5. Avocado and Crackers

Ingredients: One large avocado and one bag of crackers.

5a. Preparation:

  • Slice the avocado into four portions and remove the seed.
  • Use a spoon to scoop the flesh of the avocado into a bowl.
  • Mash the avocado into a paste.
  • Spread the avocado paste onto as many of the crackers as possible.
  • Stack the crackers to make a cracker and avocado sandwich.
